What Is OK to Board?
A transit visa is checked twice: once by Dubai immigration when you land, and first by the airline before you board. After too many passengers turned up with fraudulent or mismatched visas, airlines and Dubai immigration introduced OK to Board for certain routes.
It is a confirmation, sent to your airline, that your Dubai transit visa has been verified against immigration records. With it in place, your boarding pass is issued without questions at check-in.

When is it required?
It must be confirmed before you fly to Dubai — typically 24–72 hours before you reach the departure airport.
