For people already in the UAE, on an existing visa that's running out, who want more time — without leaving the country to get it.

• You're currently in the UAE and want up to 60 additional days — this adds that time to your current stay, processed from inside the country.
• You only need 30 more days — the 30-day inside-country extension is the lower-cost option.
• You're not yet in the UAE — this page doesn't apply to you. You want a new visa instead: 60-day single entry or 60-day multiple entry.
• Your visa type isn't eligible for in-country extension, or you'd rather reset your status via the airport — see A2A extension.

What you'll need

• Your current visa/entry stamp details
• Passport valid 6+ months from the date of extension
• A recent color photo, plain background
• Proof of accommodation for your extended stay

Eligibility for in-country extension depends on your original visa type — confirm with us before applying if you're unsure.

Pricing

This costs more than the A2A route ($550) because you're paying for the convenience of not leaving the country — A2A is cheaper but requires you to book and take an exit-and-return flight yourself.

The one thing to know before you apply

Apply before your current visa expires, not after. Extensions submitted after your existing visa has lapsed are treated differently — likely alongside an overstay fine. If your current visa is close to its end date, apply as soon as you know you need more time.
