30 Days Dubai Visa Extension
Apply online, receive your e-visa within 3–4 days.
Is this the right service for you?
This is for people already in the UAE, on an existing visa that's running out, who want more time — without leaving the country to get it.
- You're currently in the UAE and your visa is due to expire soon — this adds up to 30 more days to your current stay, processed from inside the country.
- You're not yet in the UAE — this page doesn't apply to you. You want a new visa instead: single entry or multiple entry.
- Your visa type isn't eligible for in-country extension, or you'd rather reset your status by leaving and re-entering — see A2A extension, which handles that via the airport instead.
What you'll need
- Your current visa/entry stamp details
- Passport valid 6+ months from the date of extension
- A recent color photo, plain background
- Proof of accommodation for your extended stay
Eligibility for in-country extension depends on your original visa type — not every visa category qualifies for this route. Confirm your visa type with us before applying if you're unsure.
Pricing
| Amount | |
|---|---|
| 30-Day Inside-Country Extension | $550 |
| Processing speed | 1–2 days |
| Stay added | 30 days |
| Visa validity | 30 days |
This costs more than the A2A route ($500) because you're paying for the convenience of not leaving the country — A2A is cheaper but requires you to book and take an exit-and-return flight yourself.
The one thing to know before you apply
Apply before your current visa expires, not after. Extensions submitted after your existing visa has lapsed are treated differently — likely alongside an overstay fine — and may not be processable the same way. If your current visa is close to its end date, don't wait to see if you'll need the extra time; apply as soon as you know you need it.

Frequently Asked Questions
No — that's the whole point of this option, compared to the A2A route, which does require an airport exit and re-entry.
Not automatically — eligibility depends on your current visa category. Check with us before applying if you're not certain yours qualifies.
This is why timing matters — apply while your current visa is still valid. An extension request submitted after expiry is a different situation, likely involving overstay fines, and isn't guaranteed the same outcome.
It adds up to 30 additional days on top of your current stay, not a reset to a fresh 30-day count from zero.
