This is for one trip, in and out once. If your plan is to fly in, stay up to 30 days, and fly home — this is the cheaper, simpler option.

The one condition that catches people out
One exit ends it. If you leave the UAE at any point during your 30 days — even for a day trip to a neighboring country — this visa is finished. There's no re-entering on the same visa. If there's any chance you'll want to leave and come back, apply for multiple entry from the start; it isn't something you can switch to after you've already entered.
