Dubai E-Visa for Eritrean Passport Holders: All Visa Types

Generally yes, on a single ticket with luggage checked through. You stay in the transit area without passing immigration. Airlines will still check that you hold the visa for your final destination before you board. If you want to leave the airport, or your connection is disrupted, you need a visa approved beforehand. We suggest Eritreans arrange a 48-hour transit visa with us.

Usually yes. The 48 hours start when you enter the UAE, so an evening arrival and a flight the next afternoon fits well. If your onward flight is later than two days after landing, choose the 96-hour transit visa. Neither can be extended. Apply with us with your confirmed booking and we will check the timings.

Yes. The application follows your Eritrean passport, not where you live. Use the passport you will travel with and make sure your tickets match it exactly. A residence permit from your country of residence is still useful to carry, as airline staff may ask about your travel. Tell us your departure city when you apply with us.

Whatever your final destination requires, such as a Schengen, UK, US or Canadian visa. Airlines check this at your first departure point, even if you only pass through Dubai airside. If you plan to leave the airport, you also need a UAE transit visa approved before flying. We can arrange the transit visa once your onward documents and ticket are in place.
