FAQ
Dubai Transit Visa Questions, Answered
Who needs one, 48 versus 96 hours, fees, documents and what airlines check at boarding.
A passport valid for at least six months, a clear photo, and a confirmed onward ticket out of the UAE within the visa's window. Your onward destination's own entry rules must also be met, since airlines check them in Amman. Jordanian citizens need a visa approved before flying if they plan to leave the airport, so apply with us once your flights are booked.
Most likely, yes. On separate tickets you normally collect your bags and check in again, which means passing immigration in Dubai. A Jordanian passport needs an approved visa to do that, so a 48-hour transit visa from us is the usual answer. Leave plenty of time between flights, because the second airline has no duty to wait if the first one runs late.
If your onward flight leaves within four days and you will not come back through the UAE on the same trip, the 96-hour transit visa fits. If your stopover could stretch, or you want to stop again on the way home, a 30-day single or multiple-entry visa saves a second application. Tell us both flight dates and our team will suggest the option that suits.
Yes, on one ticket you can usually wait in the transit area, which has lounges and paid rest options. The catch comes when plans change: a missed connection or a next-day rebooking may need you to leave the terminal, and that requires a visa. A pre-arranged transit visa adds no time at the airport and keeps a hotel option open if things go wrong.
