FAQ
Dubai Transit Visa Questions, Answered
Who needs one, 48 versus 96 hours, fees, documents and what airlines check at boarding.
Your first connection, in Warsaw, Riga or elsewhere, does not change the UAE side. What matters is your Lithuanian passport and your onward ticket from Dubai. Do check your bags are tagged through to the final stop. If they are not, you will collect them in Dubai, which means passing immigration, and a pre-arranged transit visa from us covers that.
Four days is plenty for both cities if you plan well: one day for Dubai's old town and souks, another for Abu Dhabi's Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, and time to rest before the next flight. The visa covers the whole UAE, not just Dubai. Apply with us once your onward ticket is booked, and we will check the timings fit.
Insurance is not usually checked for a short transit, but it is wise. A missed connection, lost luggage or a minor illness abroad can cost far more than the policy, and cover for flight disruption is especially useful on long-haul trips through the Gulf. If you plan to leave the airport, pair it with a pre-arranged transit visa from our team.
UAE entry generally expects a passport valid for at least six months, so short validity can cause trouble if you want to leave the airport. For an airside connection the airline sets the rule, and some still refuse boarding. We recommend renewing first. When you apply with us, we check passport validity before submitting, so you hear about any issue early.
